Our Story
Cuoroom was born from a simple insight: at every event, people ask, "Who's going?" What started as a solution for a single wedding has evolved into a vision for transforming all social gatherings.
The Beginning
It all started with a wedding. Like many couples, our founders wanted their guests to feel excited and connected before the big day. But existing tools felt impersonal and didn't capture the social dynamics that make events special.
The first version of Cuoroom was simple: let wedding guests see who else was coming and start conversations. The response was immediate and overwhelming. Guests were more engaged, the event felt more cohesive, and connections were made before anyone even arrived.
The Realization
We quickly realized this wasn't just about weddings. At every birthday party, networking event, concert, and gathering, the same question came up: "Who's going?" People don't just attend events — they seek connection, familiarity, and shared experiences.
We saw an opportunity to solve a universal problem: how to make any social gathering more engaging, inclusive, and meaningful for everyone involved.
Building the Platform
2024: Foundation
We started building the core platform, focusing on three key areas: pre-event discovery, real-time engagement, and post-event follow-up. Our goal was to create a seamless experience that enhanced rather than distracted from real-world interactions.
2025: Growth and Learning
Through beta testing with early adopters, we learned what truly mattered to event-goers: safety, authenticity, and meaningful connections. We refined our features based on real user feedback and began developing our unique ranking and gamification system.
With our app launching in September 2025, we're excited to bring Cuoroom to a wider audience. Every feature we've built is designed around one core principle: making social experiences better for everyone.
